Renewal retreat groups have the following six core purposes.
Facilitators and participants need to have a commitment to each of the following purposes:
- To create a context for personal, ministry and leadership renewal.
- To form a medium-term stable group that is committed to transformational support.
- To develop accountability in self-care, spiritual formation and personal growth.
- To encourage leadership and ministry growth and development.
- To build kingdom networks.
- To multiply the retreat model and extend the ministry to others.
